Perimeter and Bring Bank Communication Tips

It could be more than you think.

Some store bring banks are not always the most inviting places, and may be poorly signed, unlit and relegated to a distant corner of the car park.

Keep your 'recycling customers' as your 'shopping customers' time and time again:

• Team up with local authorities to re-badge the stores banks with the Recycle Now campaign mark and colour coded iconography
• Signpost customers to the recycling banks from the store entrance – bearing in mind that some customers will shop where they can also recycle
• Reposition your store banks in a more accessible area if they are currently out of sight
• Make an arrangement with your local authority recycling officer to closely monitor the emptying schedule of store banks to ensure they don’t overflow
• In store, flag up the full range of recycling banks and other in-store recycling services available to your customers
