New materials to support recycling at schools

The Recycle Now Schools Action Pack is an on-line resource for primary and secondary school staff and others interested in making recycling happen in their school.
The Action Pack provides information and advice for schools to guide them through the process of setting up and maintaining effective recycling schemes. It also includes activities to engage pupils, case studies to share schools' experiences of recycling and links to teaching resources which schools can access.
To support this, a range of marketing materials and signage have also been designed as school staff state that not knowing what can be recycled is a significant barrier to their school recycling more. The materials include:
- a range of awareness posters designed to engage primary school pupils, secondary schools pupils and school staff, and;
- recycling point signage for use inside the school as well as outdoors.
